Some pieces of this puzzle have been put together finally. THANKS to one of my "cousins" Kim who lives in Judsonia, AR., The Crook's, and all of my "cousins" that have sent me information on the Byford's. Afrey Anne Byford"s parents are Henry Ervin and Jane Byford. Their known children are James,Sarah,Afrey Anne,Ben,and Tom. Afrey Anne married Hiram Adams and they had two children. Their son drowned and their daughter,Ella, married a Basley. She died of cancer. Hiram was killed in 1884.
Anne then married Edward Franklin Welch and their children are Ed Welch Jr., Millie, Sarah Louise, Mamie. Mamie married Bill Houston and they have two girls, Elizabeth and Estell. Millie was staying with Sarah Louise in Tennessee when she died. My dad was just a little boy when Millie was staying with them. So I would guess she died in the 1920's..
Millie Barnett b.1851, daughter of Sarah Barnett Byford and step-daughter of Henry E. Byford, married John Henry Hatfield. They had no children. I guess you could say they had about 15 children because she LOVED her cats. When the high waters came in 1913 on Island 35, Reverie,Tennessee, she refused to leave unless she could take all her cats. Yep, you guessed it right, They found room for all her cats in the boat.
Henry Ervin and Sarah Byford had one son,
William Benjamin Byford. His children by his second wife are Bill,Leslie,and Lizzy Dale,known as "Dixie". Children with his third wife,Hattie Lou Anderson, are Hazel Beatrice, Thurman Wilford(9-23-1894~12-1977),Joseph Henry,Henry Erwin,Gladys May, William Erskin and William Benjimin. Lizzy Dale Byford married Willie Lee Godsey. One of their children, Willie Bee, married Elmer Leveritt. Willie Bee Leverett's son, Gradie Leverett, is the father to my "cousin" Kim. And I thank you very much, Kim, for the information you have given me.

Marriages to William Samuel Delancey in September 1914, Luther Berryhill, "Bill" Morris in 1936. Children are Carl Thomas Delancey b.1915, Rosie Berneva Delancey Eldridge 1921-1997. Sisters are Mamie and Millie, Brothers are Ed Welch Jr. Half-Brother ? Adams, Half-Sister is Ella Adams Basley.
